New season’s planting
We did some tidying up of the garden today, and planted some lettuce, spinach, and mixed greens. Our garlic is coming up well, and the potatoes left from last year are coming back.

Today we planted a bunch of stuff in the garden. Planting potatoes, garlic, multiplier onions, radishes, basil, green leaf lettuce, spinach, mesclun.
Our garden greens are flourishing. Today we harvested some spinach, mixed greens, rhubarb, multiplier onions, and the rest of our radishes. We also planted lettuce in place of our radishes.
Today we harvested some radishes, spinach, and mixed greens for our first home-grown salad from our garden.
We went to water our garden today and found that the water supply at the garden is working again, so no more lugging the water from our building. The sprouts are doing really well, including the first multiplier onion sightings, and we thinned out the radishes. We saw a duck next to the community garden, splashing in the puddles nearby.
Today we started planting in our new garden plot. The first to be sown were onions, radishes, and spinach.
